Replacements: If your items are too extensively damaged or stolen and require a replacement, we offer a few flexible replacement options.
We can send you instant cash (Venmo, PayPal, or virtual card) based on an excellent condition refurbished replacement of your device.
For example, if your iPhone is stolen or destroyed, we’ll base your payout on the cost of an excellent condition refurbished replacement (plus tax, if applicable), minus your deductible ($29–$99 depending on your plan and item).
If no replacement value can be found for your item, we will send you funds based on your original purchase receipt.
Replacement value: We base replacement value on the cost of excellent condition refurbished devices (same color, model, and storage), unless your device had significant damage at registration.
NOTE:
You will not receive a payout based on the value you initially paid for the item when it was new, unless no replacement can be found.
We will not base the value of your item on what used items are being sold for by random individuals on sites like OfferUp or Craigslist.
