How to correctly upload photos of your TV using the AKKO mobile app

This article will help you correctly upload images of your TV so it is protected

NOTE: If your TV is already damaged, it cannot be protected by your plan until it's fixed

  1. Take photos of your device using your phone with the AKKO app

  2. Ensure the screen is powered on

  3. Clean off any smudges or marks

  4. Make sure items are not obstructing the view of your TV

  5. Ensure the entire screen is visible in photos

  6. Make sure all images are clear and bright

Please upload a photo of the serial number displayed on the TV, making sure the entirety of the TV screen is displayed in the photo. Please also take a photo of the back of the device.

If you have an older TV that does not display the serial number in the device settings, please take a photo of the serial number displayed on the manufacturers/printed areas.

If your TV is mounted and you cannot show the entire back of the device, you do not need to take the device down. Instead, swing the TV from the wall as much as possible, and take a photo of the back.
