What to Do With a Damaged Device After Replacement

What am I responsible for after a device is replaced?

In the event of a device replacement, AKKO gets the rights to the damaged device after the funds are sent for the replacement. This means that AKKO will send you a prepaid shipping label to mail the damaged device to us.

Items to be mailed to us in the event of a device replacement include portable electronic devices such as phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, gaming consoles, etc.

NOTE:

  • You must send your damaged device to us; otherwise, a non-returned item fee will be applied to your account if we don't receive the damaged device within 30 days of receiving your reimbursement.

  • Before shipping your device, you must remove your iCloud or Google activation lock. If a device is returned but locked, your account will be charged a $150 fee.
