What Items Are NOT Covered by an AKKO Plan?

Electronics

AKKO does not cover:

  • Car electronics, including car stereos, GPS navigation devices, and keyless entry

  • Any items incorporated or mounted on the exterior/interior of your vehicle

  • Drones

  • Data transfer/recovery

  • Equipment primarily used outside

  • Business use printers

Accessories

AKKO does not cover:

  • Jewelry items, including watches, rings, and any other pieces made of gold, silver, platinum, or fur, are limited to a maximum of $1,000 per incident of loss

  • Money (currency or coin), evidence of debt, letters of credit

  • Forms of identification, including student IDs, driver’s licenses, passport documents, notes, securities, transportation tickets, or other tickets

  • Pharmaceuticals (prescription or over-the-counter)

  • Artwork (professional or amateur), antiques, and collectibles

  • Animals

  • Firearms or ammunition

  • Salesman samples

  • Contact lenses

  • Prescription lenses

  • Phone Cases

  • Keys

  • Artificial teeth or limbs

  • Merchandise for sale

Transportation

AKKO does not cover:

  • Motorized transportation vehicles, including e-bikes and lawnmowers

  • Bicycles costing over $1,000

  • Any type of motorized land vehicles or other conveyances

  • Automobiles, motorcycles, boats, motors, aircraft, or aircraft parts

  • Property from a personally owned vehicle (unless stolen with evidence of break-in) (see terms).

  • RC/toy cars.

Appliances

AKKO does not cover:

  • Wall-mounted appliances.

  • Landlines

  • Appliances integrated into cabinetry

  • Appliances with Utility Hookup (Gas, water)

  • Grills/Smokers

  • Gas-powered Tools

  • Electronic Power Tools are only covered against accidental damage/theft.

  • Power Stations/Generators

  • Furniture

  • Gun safes

Sports

AKKO does not cover:

  • Surfboards from general use/handling or accidental damage from non-airline transportation

  • Workout equipment from general use/handling
